This email is intended for Louise Solomon.  My name is Beth Waters, I am a college student at Washington State University in Spokane, Washington, and I began using the basic workout video for Yogalates last November.  I am also a type 2 diabetic and I suffer from diabetic retinopathy.  I am very limited in the types of exercises I can do and the amount of strain I can put on my body.  The first time I tried the video, I felt better than I had ever felt after a workout.  Now, a year and some later, I am more flexible, my body is taking on improved tone and stability, and the mental and physical
benefits are just incalculable.  Yogalates has also given me the energy and self-esteem to go back to the gym and eat better.  Yogalates has had a profound effect on my life, and I can honestly say I look forward to doing it each and every day.  I just wanted to send a quick note to you to let you know how very much your work is appreciated.  Thank you so much for providing an exercise technique that is effective and safe.

I am writing this email because I felt very strongly that I wanted to thank Louise Solomon for developing Yogalates and sharing it with the world.  I had not done any yoga or Pilates before borrowing a Yogalates DVD from my local blockbuster, at the same time borrowing other yoga and exercise DVD’s.
Of those borrowed I found the Yogalates most accessible and  after trying the first workout (to the extent that I was able to do it) I felt an immediate lift in my sense of body awareness and well being.  I have been doing both workouts each day for ten days and feel so much better. An old painful and ongoing feet and ankle problem has been so much easier to manage.  I am looking to purchase the set of DVD's in the near future and in the meantime continue to support my local blockbuster store.
Several weeks ago I was feeling old (nearly 45) tired, in pain and flat in regards to my physical and mental well being. Now thanks to Yogalates I am feeling more alive and alert and keen to live my life, please pass on my heartfelt thanks to Louise Solomon.  Is it safe to do the workouts daily or even twice daily on occasion?  In the future I may be interested in courses or training.

You may be interested to know that I bought the Yogalates DVD's years and years ago and have regularly done the exercises every morning; so much so that I have broken the band!!  I am now 73 and feel I have the body of someone much younger, I am more flexible and stronger than a lot of my contemporaries.

I felt I had to write to you and thank you for your excellent DVDs.    I have the first 3 of them and have found them to be excellent.   I am a 66 year old woman who loves to be fit and healthy combining the gym and bushwalking.    I have had been having great problems with my knees for the last few years and an operation was recommended as I have torn meniscus in both knees.   That was when I embarked on your programme.   I usually manage 1 hour a day for 5 or 6 days a week and have been doing this for the last six months.  I have done Yoga (very badly) and Pilates before but I feel this combination of the two is really excellent.  My knees have shown a definite improvement and I feel my posture and general toning have improved markedly.  I will NOT be having that operation and hopefully bushwalking will continue to be possible.  
I have recommended your DVDs to my friends as I feel they too would benefit from them.

I had done yoga a couple years back and then quit.This summer in august I started using your DVD "the breakthrough workout" and this month started the DVD with abs,legs, arms and the ultimate workout at the end.
I went from around 195 to 185 and feel better than ever.
Your DVD’s changed my attitude and the pace made yogalates fun again.

Ms. Solomon, I just started Yoga and Pilates in the last 4 months. I have tried so many DVDs as well as a class at my local park district and NOTHING compares to your DVD 1 and 2.   Your approach has helped me immensely.  I have had a bad lower back for several years and have really been unable to exercise much because of it.  
I took a yogalates class at my park district and was looking for something to supplement on the days when I wasn't going to class.  I stumbled onto your DVD and quickly was hooked.  Your voice is very calming and you take so much time and care into making sure that we don't hurt ourselves and offer the variations for those of us with special needs.  
I just wanted you to know that you are so appreciated. Because of you I am up off the couch, I've lost 7 pounds, feel much better, have much better flexibility and am eager to do my DVD 5 times a week.  My only problem is I want to expand my DVD library with your workouts but in the USA we only have disk 1 and 2.   Could you please see about getting your other DVD's to Amazon?   I know that you would have a huge following once the word gets out.

Greetings Louise and staff,
My name is Tam (Tamera) Raynor and I'm living in Tanzania, East Africa in the southwest bush area.  My husband and I are missionaries working with a hospital, primary school mission called Chimala Mission Hospital.  I'm a teacher of English, computers, reading music, art and Bible and Chris is the preacher.  In 2005 I had to return to Texas, USA because of extreme pain and numbness in my left arm.  After seeing the doctors we found that my shoulder and neck muscles were so tight they were pinching off the nerves to my left arm.  I have no chiropractors in Tanzania so I had a choice; do something "radical" like Yoga or return to the States for good.  I went to a store and found your Yogalates DVD and purchased it, not knowing a thing about it.  I bought the bands (stretch) and returned to Africa.
Since then I have so enjoyed the workouts you provided which have helped my muscles relax and have helped me learn how to breathe.  I have purchased in later years other people's DVD's but was not able to do those exercises until I had mastered yours.  I return to your DVD often for relaxation.  I thank God for your efforts to educate people in a gentle way.  I haven't needed a Chiropractor since I started using your method.  I can sit up straight now.  I breathe in times of stress.

I'm not really sure how to express my thanks to you, as I haven't ever found myself so completely in love with an exercise regime that I have wanted to tell everyone about it! I have always struggled to stick to exercise, whether it's finding the time or the motivation, I always seem to make excuses and as a result never really felt happy with my body. I discovered your workout merely by chance and was instantly addicted.  I have been using the DVD for about 3 months now and have already noticed that my whole body feels stronger, firmer and more flexible, but not only that I feel so much more confident and peaceful with myself. My name is Natalie and I'm 29 years old.  I have three children and like most women, I have separated stomach muscles after having them. As a result I still have my flabby 'baby belly', I've been doing your yogalates for about 18 months and while I have lost 45 kgs and 38 cms from my waist I still have my baby belly.  How can I get rid of it as a tummy tuck is absolutely a last resort and not really an option, if I can get out of it by doing exercise.  Thank you for your help and thank you for great DVD's.
